U.S. Hands off Afghanistan Demonstration at Travis AFB

Rally/Demo at entrance to Travis AFB, Fairfield (end of Air Base Parkway, near base entrance gate, take Air Base Parkway Exit, south side of  I-80, in Fairfield). Organized by CodePink and Veterans for Peace who note: “Some folks have been wondering about the message, “Stop Bombing Afghanistan”… There’s much to say here, but that’s what the purposely vague “Over the horizon” U.S. campaign is all about….continuing to bomb the hell out of one of the poorest countries on earth, but from bases surrounding it…..to get those “terrorists.”   FMI:  toby4peace@sonic.net
