Speak up for police demilitarization – at Mack Rd. Valley Hi Community Center (South Sacramento)

Sacramento Police Department will hold three in-person sessions in the coming week to “discuss community concerns and the use policy”.

Sacramento PD plans to use feedback from these sessions in their use policy revisions.

Thank you for learning about new California law AB481 and using it to call for police demilitarization.  I wanted to reach out about a local opportunity to advocate further, directly with Sacramento Police.

You can raise points, using an updated version of the toolkit we produced with Amnesty International Sacramento Chapter.  Your persistent advocacy is key to continuing to move Sacramento towards increased transparency and accountability.
