On Wednesday, Oct 25, from 7 – 8 pm, Mass Peace Action will be hosting a webinar entitled “Buy Books, Not Bombs: Public Education for Democracy” . Panelists are MTA president Max Page, describing MTA priorities; former Cambridge teacher Kathy Greeley on the effort to drop MCAS as a graduation requirement; and Andrew King (CPS Board member and BU Center for Anti-Racist Research) addressing the national attacks on civil rights and other progressive curricula. We invite you to join the panel discussing the continuing struggle for equal access to quality public education. The panel will be chaired by State Representative and former MTA President Carol Doherty.
