General Dynamics – the story of a war corporation the family behind it (Film Showing)

General Dynamics is the fifth largest war corporation in the world. The ultra-rich Crown family started the company during the Cold War, is still the biggest stock holder, and holds the lead director position on the company’s board of directors.

This webinar features a showing of the 17 minute video documentary Cancel the Crown Family, produced by The Peace Report in collaboration with the anti-imperialist organization Behind Enemy Lines. The film digs into some of the war crimes  engaged in by the self-styled philanthropic Crown family and calls attention to the corporate practice of “artwashing.”

The video will be introduced by Michael Boyte with “Behind Enemy Lines” who will also take questions and comments after the video.

Michael Boyte has been involved in anti-imperialist struggles since organizing against the Iraq War in high school. He was the founding chairperson of the Chicago Committee for Human Rights in the Philippines, and currently organizes with Behind Enemy Lines in Chicago.
