Join the Boston Workman’s Circle for Jewish Culture and Social Justice for a screening of Boycott, followed by a Q&A with Just Vision’s Executive Director and the film’s Producer, Suhad Babaa.

 

Thirty-four US states have passed laws criminalizing BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions), a tactic to pressure Israel into ending the occupation of Palestine. Boston Worker Circle’s Israel/Palestine Principles stand against the criminalization of constitutionally-protected free speech.

BOYCOTT, an award-winning film produced by JustVision, documents the cases of several people who have been caught up in their state’s anti-BDS laws, and delves into the court cases surrounding them.

BOYCOTT will premiere in Boston in October at the Palestine Film Festival. (Learn more here: https://bostonpalestinefilmfest.org/festival/) The Anti-Anti-BDS Subcommittee of BWC’s Israel-Palestine Committee has arranged this virtual screening to give those of us at BWC another opportunity to watch the film together and discuss it in community.
