AFRICOM at 13: Building the Popular Movement for Demilitarization and Anti-Imperialism in Africa

October 1 @ 11:00 am

The U.S. defeat in Afghanistan occurred years ago, a fact verified by revelations found in the “Afghanistan Papers.” This defeat has had no appreciative impact on U.S. foreign-policy makers, who continued their destructive path in places like Yemen, Libya and Syria. The new administration of US President Joe Biden has eagerly accepted and ramped up its drone war in Somalia, and militarization of Congo and Mozambique.
Join BAP’s Africa Team and the US Out of Africa Network on the 13th anniversary of AFRICOM’s founding to raise the public’s awareness about the use of western military power to impose western control of African land, resources and labor and the effort to build a popular movement for demilitarization and anti-imperialism on the African continent.
