online- Ukraine War: End it Now or Lose Much More Later
Tuesday, 20 January 2026 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Add event to your Google calendarAttendees of this webinar will hear Matthew Hoh discuss the military, economic and political state of the Ukraine War as it nears its 4th anniversary. He will discuss the ongoing negotiations to end the Ukraine War and why ending the war is an imperative for all sides. He will summarize the current military, economic and political realities for Ukraine and Russia, as well as Europe and the US, and provide his thoughts on what a successful negotiated settlement may look like. He will also discuss the potential consequences if a political settlement to the war is not reached and it continues into its fifth year. Finally, he will discuss the dangers that will continue even if there is a peace agreement and why demilitarization and a renewed effort to rebuild a wrecked United Nations system are urgently needed.
Matthew Hoh is a disabled Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War and former Afghan War State Department Officer. In 2009, after being appointed to the Foreign Service, Hoh resigned his post in Afghanistan over the Obama administration’s escalation of the Afghan War. He is now an analyst and commentator on foreign and military policy issues as a senior fellow with the Eisenhower Media Network. He serves on the advisory boards of many peace organizations, including Veterans for Peace and World Beyond War, and is an associate member of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity.

online- Militarism vs the Care Economy and Degrowth
Monday, 26 January 2026 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Add event to your Google calendarAt this critical time, when climate change and war are devastating the planet and causing tremendous suffering, the current political climate is taking everything in the wrong direction. The system of endless growth and accumulation of wealth in fewer and fewer hands at the expense of everyone else and the earth cannot be sustained. How can we do more than hold back the most extreme antidemocratic and environmentally destructive measures and work together to realize a common vision of a livable world? Speakers Harrris Gruman, Juan Jose De Blas and Anna Prouty will address how we can transition from the current disaster/militarist economy to a peace, climate, and justice-oriented care and degrowth economy. They will lay out some of the principles and benefits of a care economy and degrowth and talk about practical steps we can take here in the US to bring about the world we want to see.

Webinar: U.S. Role in Pakistan: Repression, Imperialism & Control
Monday, 26 January 2026 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Add event to your Google calendarrsvp at https://www.codepink.org/pakistan126
Join CODEPINK and the Community Alliance for Peace and Justice for a special two-part webinar series to deepen awareness and analysis of the current situation in Pakistan. As the current U.S. administration moves toward renewed political engagement with Pakistan, many are seeking a clearer understanding of how these shifts impact democracy and civil society, with special reference to the role of the military’s crackdown on political dissent. (Second webinar details to be confirmed soon!)
In this webinar, we will explore the following questions:- Historically, how has U.S. policy sustained and legitimized authoritarian rule in Pakistan?
- Why is the Trump administration actively courting Pakistan’s army chief at this moment?
- What are the consequences of renewed U.S.–military ties for Pakistan’s democratic movements, journalists, and civil society today?
Hosted by members of CODEPINK and CAPJ, this webinar will include a guided discussion with our speakers, followed by a Q+A.

The egregious costs of the weapons buildups is draining our tax dollars from critical civilian needs, among which are K-12 public schools and higher education. This Conference continues the tradition of trying to increase cooperation and collaboration among those advocating for nuclear disarmament and social and economic justice.

7amleh invites you to a webinar on the collapse of Gaza’s digital economy under blockade and the destruction of telecommunications infrastructure, where we will share key findings and testimonies from Gaza’s digital workers, and reflect on what the loss of connectivity means for livelihoods, survival, and recovery.
Gaza’s digital economy has been pushed to the brink by years of blockade and, since October 2023, by the widespread destruction of telecommunications and power infrastructure. What once served as a fragile lifeline for freelancers, remote workers, and digital entrepreneurs has been severely disrupted, cutting people off from income, communication, and the ability to remain connected to the outside world. -

An original history of the popular movement against the War on Terror—the greatest case of “we told you so” in modern political history.
Just after 9/11, President George W. Bush climbed the rubble where the World Trade Center had stood. Surrounded by shouts of anger, he said, “The people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon!” With these words, Bush ushered in the War on Terror. Quickly, a global protest movement mobilized against it, reshaping the political, moral, and media landscape.
