War in Ukraine – What do you know (and think) about it? Can attend in person or online

September 15 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

7:30 PM Thursday, September 15th                  Peace Action Conference Room               909 12th St., Sacramento, CA

The impacts of this war are being felt not only on the field of battle, but around the world.  The global economy is reeling, inflation is rampant, hunger is increasing, and new political alliances are  threatening the old order.  We’ve all heard a lot about it already, from many kinds of media.

Here’s your chance to hear from your local friends and neighbors, and share your own thoughts with them!

This will be a “hybrid” event both in-person and online. As seating in the conference room is limited, we encourage folks to join online if possible.  Masks will be optional, and social distancing will depend on the number of persons in attendance.

Speakers from both the room and online will be given only four minutes; please be prepared. We want to hear as many people as possible!

To join online, email sacpeace@dcn.org in advance for the link!  This event is co-sponsored by Peace Action, Democratic Socialist of America, and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. We are all local groups.

If your organization would also like to co-sponsor, please let us know.  For more information, contact Peace Action at 916 448-7159 or by email at sacpeace@dcn.org.
