International Human Rights Day Candlelight Vigil

December 9, 2021 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Annual candlelight vigil in support of human rights and demanding that our government respect human rights in ALL of its dealings. 16th & J Streets, Sacramento.
On December 10, 1948, seventy three years ago, the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today, while some have human rights, these are by no means universal and the United States Government continues to violate and flagrantly support the violations of human rights around the world.
Following the vigil, there will be a no-host dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, 1910 J Street. Please RSVP by December 5th to 916-448-7157 or sacpeace@dcn.org.
Those participating are asked to follow CDC guidelines. Those who are not vaccinated should wear a mask and keep social distance.
