BANNED: The Campaign to Ban TikTok

Tue April 4 @ 8:00 pm9:00 pm EDT

You are invited to join our Tuesday CODEPINK CONGRESS Calling Party to talk with special guests about the US campaign to ban TikTok and ramp up aggression towards China.

Chat with peacemakers and experts Tuesday, April 4th at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET:

Join CODEPINK Congress and Massachusetts Peace Action as we speak with US-banned RT television host Lee Camp and CODEPINK’s Wei Yu about Congressional calls to ban TikTok.

Why the need to ban?

Is silencing dissenting voices necessary to manufacture consent for wars with Russia and China?

Good questions! Let’s explore the answers together.

Featuring

As a television host, he presented the show Redacted Tonight for several years on the Russian state-funded network RT America until it was removed from the US airwaves after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Lee Camp recently returned from The People’s Republic of China and will share highlights from his trip and his thoughts about the role of the media in manufacturing consent for endless war.
