No way to treat a child campaign – short film – commemoration of Israel’s May 2021 military assault on the Gaza Strip

We will be premiering a short film that features DCIP’s field researcher in Gaza, Mohammad Abu Rukbeh, who worked around the clock last May as bombs fell to document each Palestinian child fatality. The film premiere will be followed by a Q&A with Mohammad to further discuss his work, issues impacting Palestinian children in Gaza such as access to health care and education, and what it’s like to raise his own children.
This webinar will provide an inside look at Palestinian children’s rights in Gaza: the challenges that children face going to school, accessing quality medical care, eating nutritious food, drinking clean water, and growing up under Israel’s military-imposed closure of the Gaza Strip.
I hope you will join us to honor Mohammad’s work and remember the 67 Palestinian children killed during the Israeli military offensive last year.
