CCDS Peace and Solidarity: Move the Money Task Force – online

David Vine (author of Base Nation and United States of War) will give a presentation regarding US military global bases followed by discussion of where and how better our tax dollars might be used to provide REAL security to our people.

CCDS’S Move the Money Task Force wishes to work with a broad range of labor, grassroots, human rights, peace, environmental and other groups. We are pressing local governments to push for redirection of our Federal tax dollars (and other public funds) away from massive military / war spending. We say “move the money ” to healthcare, housing, education, social /public services and sustainable development here and around the world. That is the road to real security , not militarism and interventionism.
